Mentoring for Change is a program hosted by Skills for Change featuring professionals from established, influential companies. The series provides our clients with valuable insight into a variety of exciting and employable industries and networking opportunities! At our most recent Mentoring for Change event, Skills for Change was proud to partner with Waste Management – a Fortune 250 Company and an international leader in environmental services.
Waste Management hosted Mentoring for Change to discuss the process of obtaining and succeeding in rewarding careers such as: Strategic Account Specialists, Sales Representatives, Scalehouse Attendants, and Operation Management Trainees. The turn out surpassed our expectations, and we want to thank everyone who helped make this event a success!
Attendees participated in a roundtable discussion, resume critiques, interview preparation, and a LinkedIn workshop! Guest speakers for the mentoring session included Tricia Klunder and Kristin Venzke, both of whom are experienced Talent Acquisition Advisors for Waste Management.
