February 2023 – Skills for Change Celebrates Black History Month
This month, we launch Skills for Change’s Black History Month Celebration, to honour the contributions and achievements of Black Canadians throughout our history. I am deeply proud of the resilience, determination, and strength of our community, and I am committed to supporting and uplifting Black voices and experiences.
Black History Month is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and to honour the rich and diverse cultures that make up the Black community in Canada. It is a time to recognize the ways in which Black Canadians have shaped our country and to celebrate the many achievements and successes of our community.
At Skills for Change, we are dedicated to building a more inclusive and equitable society. Our programs and services are designed to empower individuals and help them build the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. We are committed to supporting the Canadian Black community and to promote understanding and tolerance among all people through our work.
As we celebrate Black History Month, I encourage you to take the time to learn more. about the contributions of Black Canadians and to join me in uplifting and amplifying Black voices and experiences.
