Seniors Mentoring Entrepreneurs (SME)
Senior professionals providing guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs
The SME program provides aspiring and newcomer entrepreneurs with opportunities to be paired with seasoned mentors who share common interests within the field of entrepreneurship. The program runs from November 2016 to March 2017 and consists of weekly commitments of at least 1 hour during a period of 3-4 months. Meetings are flexibly arranged in terms of time, date, location and communication method, at both mentor and mentee’s discretion. We are currently conducting ongoing recruitment for both mentors and mentees.
Participants will benefit from:
- Guidance, support, direction and coaching from professionals in the entrepreneurship field
- Developing business-related skills such as business planning, finance, marketing, import-export, customer service and operations, among others.
Becoming a mentor:
Senior, retired and semi-retired professionals can get involved by mentoring, motivating and providing guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs joining our SME program. We actively looking for mentors with a background in senior management and ownership roles, in at least one of the following fields:
- Business
- Finance
- Entrepreneurship
- Marketing
- Legal
- Taxation
- Venture capital
- Planning
- Import-export
- Customer service
- Operations, etc.
