Workplace Career Connections Program (WCCP)

The Workplace Career Connections Program is a 5-week Employment Program that prepares and equips newcomers to understand their profession in Canada, learn successful job search strategies, increase networks, and more importantly how to secure employment, work in the Canadian environment to retain their jobs and advance their career.

Program Eligibility:

• CLB 6+

• Permanent Resident or Conventional Refugee

• Internationally Trained or Educated Professional

Employer Engagement:

• Labour market conditions will inform who and how we engage with employers and provide information to our clients on the areas there would be opportunities for career advancements.
• Information sessions on Employer Engagement offerings including training on SfC job board
• Access to employment leads
• Labour Market Trends
• Information sessions delivered by our employer partners
• Information sessions with past clients as success stories
• Simulation projects/ assignments/ exercises from real life scenarios led by experts during tenure of training.
• Information sessions specific to different departments of an industry (i.e., HR, Marketing)
• Real-life Business cases /used cases discussion by industry experts
• Opportunity for paid/unpaid placements
