Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA® curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills.

TCP/IP and OSI networking models; Operating Cisco routers and LAN switches; Ethernet switch configuration and troubleshooting; Wireless LANs IP addressing and subnetting; Routing protocols; Router configuration and troubleshooting; Network Security WAN concepts and configuration; Virtual LANs and Spanning Tree Protocol; Static and connected routes; VLSM and route summarization; IP access control lists; OSPF and EIGRP configuration; Point-to-point WANs; Frame Relay; VPNs; Network address translation; IPv6 Troubleshooting
Prerequisites:Fundamental computer, PC and networking knowledge.
