Course Overview

Skills for Change’s ACCPAC training courses will help you develop the skills necessary to begin using ACCPAC – the industry standard in medium to large scale businesses.

The course instructor will cover general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions for small business.

In this course you will learn the widely-used accounting software package Sage 300 ERP including General Ledger Levels I and II, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

General Ledger

  • Creating a GL

Accounts Receivable

  • Convert a manual system to ACCPAC’s AR system
  • Invoice entry
  • Customer data
  • Cash receipts
  • Period-end entries

 Payroll

  • Enter/include new employee
  • Enter/adjust earnings and deductions
  • Complete time card
  • Payroll run
  • Run payroll reports

General Ledger II

  • Set up banking and tax programs with Systems Manager
  • How to use Financial Reporter

Accounts Payable

  • Convert a manual system to ACCPAC’s payable system,
  • Invoice entry
  • Vendor data
  • Payment controlling
  • Cheque processing

About the Course

Classes are held in a Classroom or Computer Lab

Completion

  • Certificate of Completion
  • Tax Receipt Form for tuition fees for courses taken in the calendar year. To qualify, the fees must be more than $100 for the year.

Prerequisite

Bookkeeping knowledge and Knowledge of Microsoft Windows.

About the Instructor

Khorshed Alam is our Accpac Instructor with more than 25 years of experience not only in accounting and accounting software but also in Human Resource Management.

He has Masters degree in Commerce and is team leader at a leading MNC. His expertise  include training in Accounting, Contract Management, Quantitative/Statistical analysis and Budget Forecasting.

Dr. Gagik Bakhshyan has more than 25 years of experience not only in accounting and accounting software, but also in economics and financial management.
His credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics from Moscow State University and a University Diploma in Accounting. He has worked as an associate professor at Yerevan State University, a senior economist at the Center for Economic Policy Research and Analysis/ USAID and a consultant at World Bank. He is author of many research articles published in various journals throughout the world.
